"0° 00' 00" - The First Frisbee Team in the World!"
We are an Ultimate Frisbee group playing casual and friendly pickup games in South-East London.
When we play:
Every Sunday morning throughout the year at Royal Greenwich Park, between the Queen's House and the Royal Observatory, from about 10:15 to 12:30-ish.
Frozen Frisbee nearly always goes ahead but we need at least 8 people signed up as 'going' by 21:00 the previous evening to ensure sufficient numbers. Absolutely anyone is welcome to come and play with us, please sign up on the event page to confirm you are coming.
In season (April to October), we also play on Wednesday evenings from 18:15 till it gets dark (or until the call of the pub can be resisted no more) with absolutely everyone welcome! Please sign up on the event page to confirm you are coming.
CHILLED FRIDAY FLING
In partnership with our friends at University of Greenwich Ultimate (https://www.facebook.com/The-University-of-Greenwich-Ultimate-1622301854705432/?fref=ts), we also play indoors at Avery Hill on Fridays from 20:00 - 22:00. (Because this happens on University premises there is a small charge for playing).
"Once there was an Ultimate Frisbee Team in Greenwich, South-East London... by the light of the moon and under the watchful gaze of the Prime Meridian they would play and play... Then the group vanished without a trace.
Years later, a time came when other frisbee players happened upon that sacred ground, between the Stars and the Queens, and the gentle sound of an Ultrastar-175 gracefully spinning through the air was heard again amongst the rustling grasses.
That time is now.
That group is us.
